At 9:30 a.m. Sunday, more than 35,000 bikers left the Mardi Gras Casino in Hallandale Beach to ride to Markham Park with toys attached to their motorcycles.

"It's a great cause, very worthy cause and we enjoy doing it," said Joe Ober, a biker who took part in the annual event.
All of the money and toys raised will be donated directly Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital for kids battling cancer.

The route started out westbound on Pembroke Road to northbound I-95 before going westbound on I-595 and exiting onto Northwest 136th Avenue.

Then bikers then headed to on International Drive before going north on Northwest 8th Street and finishing at Markham Park.

The Toys In The Sun Run has been taking place for 24 years in South Florida.
