Several road closures are in effect Sunday for the annual Toys in the Sun Run.

At 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, more than 35,000 bikers left the Mardi Gras Casino in Hallandale Beach to rode to Markham Park with toys attached to their motorcycles. The toys will be donated to kids at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.

The route starts out going westbound on Pembroke Road to northbound I-95 before going westbound on I-595 and exiting onto Northwest 136th Avenue.

Then bikers will ride westbound on International Drive before going north on Northwest 8th Street and finishing at Markham Park.

The road closures are expected to be in effect from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
